    If you are looking to work alongside a team of highly energetic, passionate and driven people, then this opportunity may be for you. Reporting to the Head of Decision Sciences, here are the key things the Senior Decision Scientist will be doing:

    • Develop a variety of statistical models and advanced quantitative algorithms across all lines of business, including credit, operations, sales and marketing
    • Help implement statistical models in a live production environment and monitor their performance thereafter
    • Write detailed analytical/statistical reports to ensure compliance with model governance policies and regulations
    • Mine previously unexplored sources of data (both internal and external) to develop meaningful actionable insights across all business functions
    • Research and understand emerging technology (e.g., TensorFlow) to develop novel solutions to complex business problems


    Working closely with all teams across the organization, this person will meet the following requirements:

    • Master's Degree in statistics, mathematics, econometrics, quantitative analytics or related fields (Ph.D. preferable but not required)
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with relational databases, large datasets and complex SQL queries/data processing/data flows
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience building logistic regression scorecards as well as other alternative models
    • Solid understanding of key regulatory requirements in the financial services industry (e.g., fair lending, credit reporting, adverse actioning, etc.)
    • Solid Python programming skills (SAS and R are acceptable too, but Python is preferred), including experience with key analytics, statistical modeling and ML libraries
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with non-technical partners across all business functions
