    Key Responsibilities

    If you are looking to work alongside a team of highly energetic, passionate and driven people, then this opportunity may be for you. Reporting to Chief Credit and Technology Officer, here are the key things this person will be doing:

    • Execute analysis of originations credit policy including but not limited to optimizing credit score cutoffs, defining credit knockout criteria and debt capacity analysis;
    • Perform servicing and collections analytics such as: correlating credit profiles, operational policies and autopay enrollments to delinquencies and losses;
    • Analyze and report on portfolio trends to C-suite-level audience including senior management, major investors and the Board of Directors;
    • Conduct loss forecasting and loan loss reserve analysis;
    • Explore alternative data sources and analyze their applicability to improving credit policies and portfolio performance.



    Working closely with the Credit Team this person will meet the following requirements:

    • Have proficient working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases including the ability to write complex SQL/NoSQL queries to extract and manipulate data;
    • Very fluent in at least one commonly used data science tool such as: Python, R or SAS; and possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
    • Experience with data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools;
    • Solid knowledge of statistical techniques such as: classification trees, linear and logistic regression, gradient boosting; statistical modeling experience is not required but a plus;
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
